Hi, My name is Ellen. I’m a wife, mom of 3 boys, caregiver, gardener, stylist, outdoorswomen, and a volunteer for my favorite charity. I love to fish, bike ride, cook, hike, and travel. I love fashion, antiquing, going to estate sales, and finding beautiful things. I wear lots of hats…oh and by the way, I really do love hats. The one hat that I have always wanted to wear is a “boutique owner hat”. The dilemma I had about opening my own boutique is that I didn’t want to decide on a location. There are so many amazing neighborhoods in St. Louis and I love to travel. I didn’t want to be tied down to a specific town, city, or state! Then one day I heard a song by Kacey Musgraves, My House and the light bulb went off.
Here’s how it goes…
Who needs a house up on a hill, when you can have one on four wheels and take it anywhere the wind might blow. You don’t ever have to mow the yard just hang a map and throw a dart and pray to God the engine starts and go
Water and electric and a place to drain the septic, any KOA is A-OK as long as I’m with you. So come on hitch your wagon to the living room I’m draggin’. If I can’t bring you to my house, I’ll bring my house to you!
This little jingle sums it up, If I can’t bring you to my shop, I’ll bring my shop to you.
